What the day will look like- Reporting to the Global Head of Property Analytics for Commercial Risk, you will be responsible for the day-to-day development and oversight of our strategic analytic tools to support property insurance broking
- Work closely with key partners across broking, and our analytics development teams to deliver key strategic tool results
- Work with our brokers to understand and support complex client conversations and work to develop solutions that meet client
- Ensure standard methodology is followed for model technical governance
- Support brokers in key client meetings
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with underwriters, data scientists, and other partners to understand their needs and translate complex actuarial concepts into clear, actionable
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working to tight deadlines to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment
- Platform Utilization: Leverage your knowledge of analytic platforms like Databricks and Snowflake to enhance data management, processing, and analysis capabilities within the organization
- Own and maintain critical data assets for use across the organization and provide thought leadership on the development of management information and industry insights.

- Qualified Actuary with experience in pricing within the commercial property insurance sector
- Proven experience in commercial lines pricing: loss curve fitting, catastrophe (cat) modeling, or stochastic modeling would be a distinct advantage
- Demonstrable experience in pricing infrastructure - building and refining pricing algorithms, tools and analytics using best practice industry techniques
- Strong programming skills in SQL and Python/R is a significant advantage
- Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog or Snowflake is a significant advantage
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical parnters
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
