Job Description:

My client is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and motivated Project Manager with strong communication and mathematical skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively both independently and within a team. It is essential that you exhibit a practical and proactive approach to problem-solving, while applying your technical expertise and engaging with senior management and client representatives as needed.

You will need:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• Proven ability to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Ability to meet challenging deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• A results-driven approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Dedication to hard work and a desire for career advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with various team members and stakeholders, including Clients, Sub-contractors, Senior Engineers, Foremen, and Quantity Surveyors.
• Oversee project delivery, providing leadership, management, and technical expertise throughout the project life cycle.
• Manage on-site personnel, including sub-contractors, engineers, and operational staff.
• Develop weekly work schedules and produce detailed progress reports.
• Lead the site team to ensure that key project milestones are achieved.
• Oversee project design and collaborate closely with the commercial team.
• Conduct statutory workplace inspections to ensure compliance.
• Work in close partnership with the Contracts Manager, ensuring project timelines align with budget and commercial goals.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture, with the aim of maintaining an accident-free site.
• Organize and lead weekly management meetings.
• Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initiation to final handover.
