Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties and responsibilities:Cleaning the building under the supervision of the technical manager to include hoovering and sweeping of the factory floor.
Monthly inspection of the building, including heating, air-con, lighting and alarm systems to make sure they are in good working order
Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required
Ensure all minor maintenance tasks are completed within the buildings e.g., door handles, shelves, painting, carpentry, leaks etc.
Log and report all maintenance issues to the technical manager
Monitoring cleaning materials etc. and reordering as required
Ensure the exterior of the building is presentable at all times. To include the up keep of external areas including the yard
Ensuring wash areas and toilet areas are regularly replenished and kept clean and tidy
Ensure all communal areas are kept clean tidy and replenished after each break time
Movement of desks, factory equipment, supplies, deliveries etc., as required.
Maintain safe conditions and safe working practices within the facility
Clean inside of windows once a week and/or when necessary
Clean external windows when required (ground level only)
Be cognisant of disability and access requirements in the building
Any other duties required by the technical manager
Adhering to the company’s safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone
