We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Finance Assistant to join our client’s dynamic head office team in Dublin North. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is pivotal in supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth communication between the finance function and the wider business.This role is due to exceptional growth in the business over the last few years. There are also multiple sites throughout Ireland that you would liaise with and ensure continuity across the group.
This position requires someone with a strong background in accounts administration, particularly in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision of Accounts Receivable processes.Managing the company’s accounts mailbox, responding to queries in a timely manner, and ensuring follow-ups are completed.
Accurate processing and coding of supplier invoices.
Supplier payments and creditor reconciliations.
Daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Preparing management reports using Excel.
Assisting with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Acting as a key point of contact for the sales and operations teams on administrative and finance-related queries.
Ensuring accurate data management for over 10,000 live customers/debtors monthly.
Handling monthly reconciliations and database credit/debit processing.
Supporting process improvements within the finance function.
Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting technician role.Strong administration skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proficiency in accounting and office software.
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the role.
Experience working in a small, close-knit team, ideally within an SME environment.
Strong ExcelExperience preparing management reports.
