On behalf of our client, a leading construction company is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its fast-paced and collaborative Estimating Department. The organization has recently secured a range of high-profile projects across sectors including Data Centres, Food & Beverage, Financial Services, Technology, Pharmaceutical, Residential, and Commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed tenders in a timely manner using drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, identifying risks, ambiguities, and qualifications, and seeking clarification when necessary.
  • Distribute project documentation to subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of tendering processes and stay informed on industry developments and contract changes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar estimating role.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with estimating/QS software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
