Application Details
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Responsible for the opening and closing of the building from 5pm to 10.30 Mon to Friday. To ensure that lighting and heating is put on for all groups and Tutors using the Centre at night time. Ensure all windows and doors are closed and all lights and heating switched off before leaving building. Have a presence outside the building at all times and report anything that needs attention or reporting.
Ensuring the safety of all Project users and identifying any Health & Safety issues. Ensuring the Fire & Safety Book is signed by all Tutors entering the building and Tutors keep their own Record of all course participants.
To ensure Tea room is ready for Trainers and participants i.e. lights and heating on; kettles filled and boiled; sufficient supply of milk/biscuits and all cups to be put in Dishwasher and switched on for next morning.
Clean delph and cutlery to be placed in Kitchen cupboards and worktops to be kept clean and tidy.
To attend and participate in meetings, training and supervision sessions. Have responsibility for any other duties deemed appropriate from time to time not included in the aforementioned duties. Driveways and communal areas to be swept and kept maintained regularly.Ensure rubbish bins and recycling bags are put out for weekly collection and bins washed regularly.
Have responsibility for all tools and equipment in your care and to ensure they are safely maintained and stored
To have responsibility for any other duties deemed appropriate from time to time not included in the aforementioned duties.
To maintain strict confidentiality with regard to all aspects of the project work both during and outside of working hours.To meet with the C.E. Supervisor on a regular basis. Attend and participate in meetings, training and supervision sessions. Time sheets to be filled in correctly and handed in to CE Supervisor monthly.
