Warehouse Team Lead (Support Role)
Location: North Cork AreaHourly Rate: €18.00 | Full-Time | Monday to Friday

A busy distribution company in the North Cork region is seeking a dependable and physically fit individual to join their warehouse team in a Team Lead Support capacity. This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative looking to step into a role with more responsibility — without stepping fully out of the operational side.
About the Role:This is a hands-on warehouse position that includes elements of leadership. You’ll work closely with the Warehouse Manager on day-to-day operations and step in to oversee activity when they’re off-site. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking initiative while still being very much part of the frontline team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Supporting the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations
- Performing core warehouse duties: offloading, picking, loading, and stock handling
- Helping coordinate truck routing and scheduling
- Taking the lead in the manager’s absence to ensure smooth operations
- Promoting a safe, efficient, and positive working environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced warehouse operative with a strong work ethic
- Interested in taking on some supervisory responsibility
- Comfortable with manual handling and fast-paced workloads
- Reliable, self-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Full Manual Driving Licence (Category B)
- Own transport essential - location is NOT served by public transport
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate
- Solid knowledge of Irish geography
- Physically fit (role involves lifting and moving product by hand)
- Fluent English speaker
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, approx. 40–45 hours per week
- Shift pattern includes late starts (e.g. 11:30am–9:00pm)
- €18.00 per hour
- Potential for a 4-day week schedule in the future
