This role forms a key position on the team to support both the payroll and accounts payable activities and to support its continued success through interactions with a number of internal and external stakeholders, with a unique requirement of being able to communicate with our team in Mahe India in their local language.
The role is highly visible within the Group through its large number of touch points.
We are looking for a well organised finance professional, who has the ability to manage two work streams, work to tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail and can speak Malayalam to a professional level.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Support the process of accounts payable processing
Be the point of contact for any accounts payable queries, liaising between the team in Mahe, India in Malayalam and the supplier in EnglishVerify and confirm all bank details, both new and changes, by contacting the supplier via phone
Review and create supplier payments for submission to the bank
Process a high volume weekly payroll
Deal with candidate tax or payroll queries
Liaise with external provider on queries as required
Request P.45’s , P.60’s and other statutory requirements
Liaises with other members of Finance team (eg Credit Control, Reporting Team) on any payroll issues
Complete any statutory returns required
Any Ad Hoc requests
Essential Requirements: Leaving Cert or equivalent qualification
Experience using a timesheet and billing system for the recruitment industryAdvanced Excel Skills
Experience and working knowledge of Giant essential
Excellent knowledge of timesheets and finance systems and understanding how they interact
2 – 3 years of global accounts payable processing
2 – 3 years of high volume weekly payroll processing to tight deadlines, specifically in a recruitment industry environment covering UK and Ireland
Experience in managing new starters and leavers on the system is essential
A proven track record with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail is required
Proven ability to communicate and the use of interpersonal skills together demonstrating the ability to work well in a global organisation and lean team environment.
Fluency in English & Malayalam, both verbal and written required at a professional level
Desirable Requirements: A postgraduate qualification eg MSc in Corporate Finance
Professional Payroll Qualification eg IPASS
Additional Information:Minimum Annual Remuneration: €40,000
