Key Responsibilities:
To carry out all Reception duties, working as part of the Front Office Team (reception, reservations and front of house).
To ensure the smooth running of the front desk ensuring the highest levels of guest service and guest satisfaction.
To balance team and individual responsibilities and to provide support as required to fellow colleagues.
To plan your shift schedule being aware of which team members are working, arrivals, departures, special requests etc.
To conduct a team briefing on commencement of each shift in preparation of service. Ensure a detailed and full handover is communicated to you.
Ensure team members are aware of their responsibilities.
To ensure complete guest satisfaction through the prompt handling of guest queries in a friendly and efficient manner
To anticipate guests needs and ensure that service is provided to the level they require and beyond their expectations
To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within all front office departments
To answer the switchboard and hotel telephone as per Company standard of service
To develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments
To ensure that standards including are adhered to, implemented and achieved in your department.
Liaise with managers in related departments to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction and undertake the role of lobby host when required.

To assign duties to Reception staff when necessary.

Requirements: Previous Reception Supervisor/Senior receptionist experience is desirable.

Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills.
Ability to lead by example and to display passion & optimism.
Excellent Communication and PC Skills. Hotsoft experience is an advantage.
Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
Must be a team player with the ability to multi task.
Flexibility to work weekends, weekdays and a mixture of early/late shifts.

Be able to make decisions in a fast paced environment.
