General Operative

From milk processing to cheese aging, you will be involved in various aspects of cheese production, contributing to the creation of our signature products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate cheese production equipment, including pasteurizers, cheese vats, curd cutters, presses, and packaging machinery, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and control cheese production processes to ensure optimal product quality and yield.
• Perform milk processing tasks, including milk pasteurization, culturing, coagulation, and curd formation.
• Follow recipes and formulations to produce different types of cheeses, adhering to established quality and flavor profiles.
• Assist in the handling and maturation of cheese during the aging process, including flipping, washing, and monitoring temperature and humidity levels in cheese aging rooms.
• Conduct routine quality checks and inspections to assess cheese characteristics, such as texture, flavor, and appearance, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in production areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in inventory management activities, including raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods, and assist in stock rotation and replenishment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot production issues, implement process improvements, and achieve production targets.

Candidates do not need fluency in English, as translators avail for training.

The shifts are 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm & 10pm to 6am working 5 days over Monday to Sunday.

Time and a half is based on Saturday's & Double time is paid on Sunday's.

Sunday: €27.00 per hour
