Location: Dublin / RemoteSalary: €58,254 – €67,700
Contract: Specified Purpose Contract
We are currently recruiting for a Grade VII Project Manager to support the delivery of key initiatives within a neurology programme based in the public sector. This specified purpose contract offers the opportunity to work on impactful national healthcare projects, with flexibility to work remotely or from a Dublin-based location.
Reporting directly to the Clinical Lead, the successful candidate will play a central role in the planning, coordination, and execution of service improvement initiatives across the neurology care pathway.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify opportunities for innovation and improved service delivery.
- Work in partnership with Clinical Leads, advisory groups, and programme teams to define and prioritise improvement initiatives.
- Lead the development of programme plans, outlining key workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Manage the day-to-day implementation of programme activities, including workflows and work packages, to ensure outputs are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support the collection, evaluation, and communication of clinical and service evidence, drawing from both local and international best practice to inform service design.
- Prepare evidence-informed business cases and funding proposals aligned with programme objectives and national planning processes.
- Act as a champion for quality improvement at a national level, supporting integrated care across the patient pathway.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in project or programme management, preferably within the healthcare or public sector.
- Ideally, experience working within neurology or a related clinical area.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience preparing business cases or working with service improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Irish health system or similar healthcare settings is an advantage.
