We are currently recruiting a CFS Digital Transformation Manager, responsible for advancing the global Intelligent Automation strategy and roadmap, in alignment with the company’s overall digital strategy and CFS goals. This is primarily achieved through our Robotics program, to support the implementation of digital solutions driven by intelligent automation.

The Digital Transformation Manager will be focused on identifying fit-for-purpose digital solutions to implement process and operational efficiency across the CFS organisation in collaboration with Business Technology Services.

CFS Digital Transformation Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

The Digital Transformation Manager is responsible to advance and lead the global Intelligent Automation strategy and roadmap, in alignment with the company’s overall digital strategy and Corporate Finance Services (CFS) goals.

This is primarily achieved through our Robotics program to support the implementation of digital solutions driven by intelligent automation. This will enhance the finance technology landscape and compliment the capabilities being offered by other Strategic Programs.

Specifically, the manager will be focused on identifying fit-for-purpose digital solutions to implement process and operational efficiency across the CFS organisation in collaboration with BTS.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Intelligent Automation – Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Oversee RPA program to drive Return of Investment (ROI) by automating tasks.
  • Continuously improve business processes for RPA development and support.
  • Develop and communicate the RPA vision and strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate processes for automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide training and support for business colleagues on RPA.
  • Oversee RPA project management and technical design.
  • Manage support and maintenance of RPA solutions.
  • Report on program performance and manage automation costs.
Intelligent Automation – Robotics Desktop Automation (RDA) / Citizen Developers
  • Drive incremental RDA solutions with clear ROI.
  • Assess and report on the effectiveness of the RDA program.
  • Support and manage Digital Workers and Citizen Developers.
  • Coordinate and grow the number of Citizen Developers.
Benchmarking / Technology Fore-sighting
  • Regularly benchmark and explore new automation developments.
  • Assess and influence robotics strategy with new technologies.
  • Leverage advisory capabilities for automation insights.
Other Intelligent Automation Solutions
  • Identify and select new automation tools for Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) or Minimal Viable Products (MVPs).
  • Improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Investigate and provide insights on new technology trends.
Other Key Responsibilities
  • Champion digital transformation tools and encourage innovation.
  • Ensure funding and savings are secured.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for broader automation and digital teams.
Project Management
  • Lead cross-functional teams for project planning and execution.
  • Develop implementation plans and manage project risks.
  • Manage project resources and track budgets.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in shared services or finance operations.
  • In-depth understanding of CFS financial processes with the ability to identify and establish business cases for new digital technologies.
  • Proven experience in process evaluation and re-engineering within finance operations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy, vision, and long-term goals into practical targets and objectives.
  • Experience delivering business change in one or more of the following areas:
  • Digital/Technology/Process implementations, including active participation in planning, business case, and design phases as a subject matter expert in finance and accounting.
  • Transformation using Business Intelligence, data analytics, and visualization tools.
  • Robotic Process Automation, AI, and other emerging technologies.
  • Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and develop win-win relationships in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Significant leadership skills with a track record of driving projects and programs (e.g., multi-site, cross-functional) to successful completion, even in matrix organizations with different support groups and potentially conflicting objectives.
  • Experience in driving process reviews and re-engineering projects to deliver process efficiency.
  • Forward thinker and self-motivator who thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of the finance and accounting technology landscape and key trends in this space.
  • Experience in funding/investment opportunities and building business cases to support the strategy roadmap.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., RPA tools like UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere) can be a plus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) to manage complex projects. Experience with the platform, JIRA, for issue and tracking of user stories and sprints will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Basic qualifications:

  • Experience in large multinational companies as Digital Transformation Manager/Specialist, Business Process Excellence or Project management roles.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Lean/Six Sigma/Business Process evaluation experience.
  • Project implementations/Project management.
