A well-established market leader in the plumbing and heating sector is embarking on an exciting period of operational transformation across Ireland and the UK. As part of this journey, they are now seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager to lead and implement end-to-end supply chain enhancements across multiple sites and third-party logistics providers.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a forward-thinking logistics professional who can bring both strategic vision and hands-on experience to warehouse and distribution operations. You’ll take ownership of change management projects that will redefine processes, systems, and efficiency across a growing network.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of a long-term logistics and warehouse transformation roadmap.
- Drive efficiency improvements across warehouse layouts, inventory systems, and fulfilment strategies.
- Champion the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) and automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, sales, and customer service.
- Manage and optimise relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Analyse operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee redesigns of both inbound and outbound logistics flows.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading change/transformation within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain functions.
- Proven track record of delivering warehouse and logistics improvement projects.
- Strong knowledge of WMS and logistics software implementation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and project leadership skills.
- Level 7 degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Sector experience in plumbing, heating, or construction materials is a bonus but not essential.
- Competitive salary range of €60,000 – €75,000, depending on experience.
