Position: Kitchen PorterHourly Pay: €15.90/hour (+ Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays)
Location: Dublin 4
We are seeking a Kitchen Porter for our healthcare facilities in Dublin 4.
Why This Role Is Important As a Kitchen Porter in our healthcare facilities, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, directly contributing to the well-being of patients, staff, and the wider community. Your dedication helps create a safe and welcoming space where meals are prepared with care.
What You’ll Be Doing Your role in maintaining our high standards will include:
Keeping the kitchen sparkling and organised, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.Cleaning and sanitising meal preparation areas, equipment, and surfaces.
Washing dishes and keeping a steady supply of clean cookware, crockery, and utensils.
Assisting with food preparation, such as peeling, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
Stocking ward pantries and beverage stations to ensure smooth services for patients and staff.
Recording temperatures for food and equipment to meet HACCP standards, and reporting issues.
Managing waste disposal and recycling, promoting a clean and safe environment.
Helping with meal services, such as setting up displays and serving lunches or teas.
Occasionally operating the cash register, if required.

What We’re Looking For We’re excited to bring motivated and team-oriented individuals into our family. Are you:
6 months to 1 year experience in similar environmentDetail-oriented with a passion for cleanliness and organisation?
Great at both working independently and as part of a team?
Understanding of (or eager to learn about) HACCP food safety procedures?
Flexible and available for weekend and Bank Holiday shifts?
Eligible to work in Ireland with Garda Vetting clearance and ready to provide five years of work references?
