Role Summary:
This Financial Accountant role will focus on our Ireland and UK business and will partner with the local finance teams to manage the US GAAP financials for several entities. In addition, to playing this key strategic and analytic role, the successful candidate will be part of a hybrid Finance team that liaises cross-function teams globally.
Responsibilities:
- Review monthly USGAAP (P&L and Balance Sheet) results and prepare analysis for the Country Controller.
- Assume responsibility for balance sheet control and monthly reconciliation review.
- Coordinate the month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Work with the business to analyse and validate monthly results.
- Review journals for accuracy and completeness, including associated SOX controls.
- Handle local statistical reporting and manage controls.
- Manage new acquisitions post cut-over.
- Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide finance expertise and ongoing support to the business.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
- Support leadership with queries, reporting, and ad hoc tasks.
- Collaborate with local and global teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
