Application Details

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Assisting in the booking process of all the education workshops and activities, including contacting schools and groups by phone and email to confirm booking details.
Helping with all education administration including recording number of attendees, filing of booking forms and evaluation forms.
Liaising with education suppliers.
Setting up the venue and getting all the materials ready for each workshop.
Assisting with education reports and funding applications.
While the CE Scheme does not require Garda Vetting the host organization will require Garda Vetting prior to the participant starting on CE.
Assisting in the promotion of workshops to schools, libraries, businesses and corporate bodies
Provide support during education workshop
Assistance in general administration under the direction of the office
manager when required
