Financial Accountant

My client are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for Acquisitions to join their Wholesale & Foodservice Commercial Finance team, reporting to the MWP Senior Management Accountant.

Role purpose:

• Support the Commercial Finance team in all aspects of acquisition management accounting.
• Integrate acquisitions into Musgrave ways of working, with a focus on alignment of reporting and planning.
• Support the acquired finance teams in all aspects of onboarding and integration.
• Support the Wholesale & Foodservice Commercial Finance team in a period of significant change and growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Integration of acquisitions into Musgrave ways of working.
• Lead out on the circulation of weekly performance reports including sales, margin and PBT for acquisitions.
• Lead out on periodic management accounts consolidation for acquisitions.
• Lead out on forecasts, budgets and 3YP consolidation for acquisitions.
• Support the hard close process and YE audits, including accruals and prepayments reviews, advising management on risks within acquisition entities and mitigations.
• Support the delivery of key acquisition tasks such as GNFR (goods not for resale) benefits.
• Building relationships with the relevant members of acquired finance teams to collaborate on integration.
• Working with other finance members and teams as needed to support the acquisition agenda.
• Support projects within the Wholesale and Foodservice Commercial Finance team as required
