Hospital Chef Job in Dublin 6
Position: ChefRate of Pay: €18.80/hour
Location: Dublin 6
We are hiring a talented Chef to join our culinary team for ours clients heath facility in Dublin 6.
As our Chef, you will be the heart of the kitchen, preparing and serving delicious, freshly cooked meals for our service users. Your culinary expertise and dedication to quality will directly impact their well-being and satisfaction.

You will be requisitioning ingredients, preparing and cooking food, ensuring proper portioning and storage, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.You will also have the opportunity to contribute to menu planning and special functions.
Duties to include:-Preparing and cooking a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times (HACCP).
Managing food inventory and ordering supplies.
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Collaborating with the team to create menus and plan special events.
Checking the quality of goods received as per specification.
Requirements -
Professional Cookery Award at Level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or equivalent.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of HACCP standards and healthcare-specific dietary requirements.
Knowledge of catering in a healthcare environment.
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and organisational skills to manage kitchen operations smoothly.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and multidisciplinary teams.
Awareness of and compliance with HIQA standards, health and safety regulations, and infection control policies.
Willingness to attend mandatory training such as Food Safety, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, etc.
