Chef de Partie - Kilkenny

Sky Staffing Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Chef de Partie based in Kilkenny. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and motivated culinary professional to join a dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume kitchen and the ability to manage their section with consistency and attention to detail.

You will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards, ensuring smooth service delivery, and contributing to a positive and professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your assigned section and ensure all mise en place is completed to a high standard
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with established recipes and standards
• Ensure food is delivered consistently in terms of quality, presentation, and portion size
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation, adhering to all HACCP and food safety regulations
• Support junior kitchen staff and collaborate effectively with the wider team
• Work closely with senior chefs to improve kitchen operations and food quality
• Assist in stock control and proper food storage procedures
• Maintain professional conduct, personal hygiene, and presentation standards

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role
• Excellent culinary and preparation skills
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
