Team Leader – Manufacturing
Are you ready to lead from the front and support the smooth running of a high-performing manufacturing team? We’re looking for a Team Leader on behalf of one of our well-known clients in the manufacturing industry. You will be joining the production floor and will play a key role in ensuring daily operations are efficient, compliant, and high in quality.
As a Team Leader, you’ll work closely with the Production Supervisor to support all aspects of daily production. You’ll coordinate schedules, assign tasks, monitor performance, and be the first point of contact for your team—helping to ensure we hit our targets while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Location: Naas, Co. KildareType of Role: Full-Time, Permanent role | €16/hour + 20% Evening Shift Bonus
Shifts: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime

Key Responsibilities:
Organise and manage daily and weekly production schedules.Assist the Supervisor with the day-to-day running of operations and support across all production areas.
Track and document line efficiency, supplier performance, and production yields weekly and monthly.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across your area.
Delegate tasks effectively to ensure production targets are met on time.
Identify team training needs and escalate them to the Production Supervisor.
Train new and existing team members in best practice processes and safe working methods.
Act as the go-to person for your designated area, supporting both team members and supervisors.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all processes and practices within your section.
Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, quality assurance, and legal standards.
Report any team or personnel issues promptly to the Production Supervisor.
Participate in meetings relating to manufacturing performance, quality, and process improvement.
Promote a high standard of service, quality, and workmanship across the team.
Support the Supervisor in enforcing Health & Safety and HACCP protocols to create a safe, efficient working environment.
What You Bring to the Team:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.A proactive team player with excellent leadership potential.
Organisational skills to manage schedules and shift tasks effectively.
Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and tracking.
A positive attitude, with the ability to motivate others and lead by example.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly desirable.
